  1. What is Taifook eServices?

    Taifook eServices is an integrated platform to subscribe Taifook's online services such as:
    • Securities, Local Futures and Forex real time quotations
    • Intelligent Stock Monitor
    • price alert
    • SMS commentray
    • Gift redemption centre etc.
    In addition, Taifook eServices allows you to accumulate Wealth Points with any online Securities, Futures (not including trading by TWS) and Bullion transactions. Your Wealth Points will be awarded according to conversion rate of different products and shown in your account by the next trading day. You can use these Wealth Points to redeem services and gifts.

  2. Who can use Taifook eServices and how can I login?

    eServices is only available to the customer of Taifook Securities Group Ltd.
    • If you are the account holder of Taifook's "Online Securities Trading", you can use the same login ID and password to login eServices.
    • If you have not yet applied for the accounts for "Online Securities Trading", you can use the eStatement's login ID and password to login the system.
    • If you are not yet a Taifook account holder, please open an account with our customer service officer at the following location:

  4. Which Quotation systems are available on Taifook eServices?

    Taifook eServices offers securities quotation systems for different markets including Hong Kong and USA. There are 8 securities quotation systems for HK stocks: ET Net IQ Streaming, Quote Winner, QuotePower-Web, Taifook QuoteStar, Qian Long, TDX lightning version.

  5. How do I apply for the Hong Kong Securities Quotation System?

    Please apply by first login to eServices, then click "Securities Quotation" on the left hand side menu. Choose the system desired and the month you would want to start the service. You can also choose auto-enroll for the upcoming months. Simply re-enter your password to confirm.

  6. Why can't I view the real time stock prices even after I have finished the subscription process?

    You may need to login the "Taifook Online Securities" account to check the stock quotes.

  7. How can I 'auto-enrol' for quotation services?

    If you chose 'auto-enrolment', our system will subscribe the same RTQ service for you on the first day of next month and monthly fees will be deducted accordingly.
    However, if there is insufficient point or cash in your account, system will cease the auto-enrolment service automatically. You will have to re-subscribe the related services in the future.

  8. Can I change or cancel the Real Time Quotation Services?

    When the RTQ service is successfully subscribed, it should be used for at least one month, while no change or cancellation is allowed. Yet, you can select to delete the following month's service subscription manually through the 'auto-enrolment' function at 'Change Settings'. Moreover, you can change the next month service in the "Buy" function.

  9. Can I apply for more than one securities quotation services at the same time?

    No, system can only support one Hong Kong securities quotation service at a time in each month. However, you may can apply for another quotation service for the next month.

  10. How do I subscribe for Intelligent Stock Monitor?

    After you have signed onto eServices, you can apply for Intelligent Stock Monitor service. You may also choose auto-enroll function to save your subscription time for the coming months

  11. How can I change my password?

    Please access the 'Personal Information' on homepage and press 'Change Password'.

  12. How long will Price Alert Service be effective for?

    The Price Alert will be expired in 3 months after the subscribed even if no triggering happens during that period.

  13. How often will the Price Alert be triggered?

    Your pre-set price level will only be triggered once within the 3-month subscription period. If you would like to receive many triggers at a certain price, you will have to reset the trigger condition after the first trigger completes.

  14. Will I be informed about the remaining Price Alert quotations?

    The remaining Price Alert quotations can be checked at the right-hand corner of the Price Alert Services page. However, there will be no notification when there are no more Price Alerts services left for use.

  15. Although I had bought 100 times of price alert package for securities, I only used 3 times. How come I only have 95 times left?

    Since the price alert service applies to both futures and securities customers, the triggering functions can be used in either cases. You could check the recent trigger cases to verify the record.

  16. How do I change my mobile phone settings for Price Alert and SMS Commentary?

    There are two ways to change your mobile phone settings. You can make changes by selecting "personal info" and "change personal info" from the first page, or you can also select "change setting" on the page of each particular service.

    Taifook SMS Commentary updates you the news and commentaries on a daily basis.

    You can logon to eServices, go to the left hand side of the main page of "SMS Commentary" to then choose Services Categories/SMS Redemption/Settings.

    Yes, you can go to "SMS commentary" and then unsubscribe the service in "Change Setting"

  20. How could I apply for Taifook e-statement service?

    Taifook eServices offers e-statement service. Customer only needs to download and fill in an application form and send it back to Taifook postal address or fax to Taifook customer services upon completion of the form. Once your application has been processed, you can enjoy our e-statement through eServices.

    Taifook eNewpaper enables you to keep an eye on the current market environment and decide on your next move.
    You simply need to select "eNewspaper subscription" and enter your email address to receive eNewspaper.

    You simply need to select "integrated information" and "research report" and then click on "daily market report".

  23. What is Taifook's Wealth Point scheme?

    You will be granted Wealth Points with your online securities, futures (not including TWS), Stock options, bullion, and leveraged foreign exchange trading transaction according to the exchange rate. By accumulating the required number of Wealth Points, you are able to redeem the desired products and services at Taifook Redemption Centre. Please check "
    reward scheme" for details.

  24. Are Wealth Points transferable and cash convertible?

    No. All Wealth Points are neither transferable nor cash convertible.

  25. How long are the Wealth Points valid for?

    Wealth Points are valid until the last day of the 12th month. For example, if you earned 1,000 Go Points on 15 January, they will be valid till 31 January of the next year.
    (Note: Wealth Points rewarded on or before 2009 December 31 will be valid for 6 months. Eg. If you earned 500 Go Points on 15 December, they will be valid until 30 June of the next year)

  26. When will I receive Wealth Points?

    System will automatically transfer the Wealth Points for you according to exchange rate on the next trading day.

  27. I don't have enough Wealth Points to subscribe services and redeem gifts, what can I do?

    If you do not have sufficient Wealth Points to subscribe for services, you may pay the remaining price in cash after calculating for conversion rate. However, you must have sufficient Wealth Points to redeem gifts at our redemption centre.
