  1. Can you use "Power Stock Options" and "Power Futures" at the same time?
  2. After logging into "Power Futures" I found the login name of "Power Stock Options" also changed, is it normal?
  3. Do I need to apply to use "Power Stock Options"?
  4. There is an (*) next to some of my holdings, what does it mean?
  5. How come I can still see my positions that are already executed on Power Stock Options?
  6. If I would like to establish a covered call strategy, what can I do?

  2. After logging into "Power Futures" I found the login name of "Power Stock Options" also changed, is it normal?

    When you login to "Power Futures" (Power stock options), and then use "Power Stock Options" (Power Futures), you will need to enter the correct domain name and login name.

    Power Futures domain name: powerfutures.taifook.com

  3. Do I need to apply to use "Power Stock Options"?

    For existing clients, if you would like to apply for "Power Stock Options" account, please contact our customer services hotline or your account executive. For new clients, he account will be give to you upon successful opening of online stock options account.

  4. There is an (*) next to some of my holdings, what does it mean?

    (*) means the holdings cannot be updated immediately, please go to market price window and choose the product again. New information will be updated.

  5. How come I can still see my positions that are already executed on Power Stock Options?

    "Power Stock Options" will only update execution status after market. Please do not settle he position again. New position will be displayed on the next trading day.

  6. If I would like to establish a covered call strategy, what can I do?

    When you are shorting a call, and you have relevant stock in your account as an underlying asset, you may contact your account executive to transfer your asset from offline (02-xxxxxxx-00/-22) to online account (02-xxxxxxx-30/-33). The new status and released margin will be reflected on the next trading day.

  7. Will my stock holdings be reflected on "Power Stock Options"?

    If you transferred your stocks to online stock options account as collateral, I will not be shown on "Power Stock Options".

  8. If the related underlying asset is transferred to my online stock option account, will I automatically switched to covered call status?

    Yes, and the change will be shown on system on next trading day.

  9. I have already settled my covered stock options, when will it be shown on "Power Stock Options"?

    Covered / Uncovered options will be shown on system by next trading day.

  10. How can I know the contract size of different stock options?

    In order to show the contract size of different stock options, you can double click the right frame in the Market Price Window, select to insert [contract] from the hidden menu.

  11. I am not able to trade the latest month stock/index options online in the first day when they are listed. Why? (e.g orders for Jan 2011 stock/index options is not allowed to place on 29th Oct 2010)

    New products do not have the previous close which is required to calculate the margin requirement in the online system. Therefore you cannot place the order for the latest month stock/index options. If you want to trade these products, please contact your account executive.
